“Ciels” follows a team of international intelligence agents, in their secret isolated layout, as they have to take care of operation ‘Socrates.’ Together with their combined skills, they’ll need to figure out the best approach on what to do about a terrorist group.
Wajdi Mouawad is so incredibly talented.
All of his characters are so distinctive and are given a strong voice within their limited dialogues and speeches.
This story crafted heavy topics such as terrorism, politics, and suicide into an artistic frame using poetry and words to uncover the mystery of terror attacks, which made the impacts of the story much more heartbreaking and frightening.
Overall, a great, important and culturally diverse play.
