I could not put this book down. I read it in two sittings. It wasn’t 100% thrilling per say but it’s the thought of the unknown that made me want to get to the end. All of the characters are a bit messed up, which I loved. The end, for me, wasn’t predictable nor unpredictable. I don’t know. I just loved this book?! (ALSO, I love trains and thus I loved how most of the novel took place on the train!) Overall, a great, addictive, and entertaining read.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
