Amazing life-changing book. Dr. Gundry’s work and research is something that I can feel will change my mind. This book, gratefully written for regular non-science and non-nutritionist people equally as ones that are science familiarize, is easily comprehensible. Gundry breaks down the plant paradox: certain plants can toxify your body while others can nourish and heal it. Every day I contemplate eating something detrimental to my health and as a recurrence from a certain diet fad, i remind myself of my health currently and for my future. Knowing that the Plant Paradox Program can prevent diseases and harmful cells in my body. We consume so many ingredients and foods sold to us as health, gluten-free, etc, unaware that they are literally speaking killing us, sold to us to make us addicted to its taste meanwhile we destroy our guts. Prior to reading Dr. Gundry’s book, I had never heard of Lectins and through his various breakdown explanation, I understand that the lectins found in many starchy food as well as plants, are completely to be feared and monitored in our day to day lives. Hence, this research/book in its entirety opened my eyes as to what I have been harmfully, glutinously, dismissively, and unconsciously consuming in the first two decades of my life. Every time I say no to pizza (or grains or wheat or simply put Lectins) from here on out; I am reminded of my future health since it is more reliant on what we do not consume versus what we do consume.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
