This book helps
Insightful. However, half way through or the last third of the book simply felt like it lost its “narrative” structure. Murakami did a good job using running as a metaphor to the hard work that is writing and pursuing one’s own path or goal in life no matter its obstacles – and in that he was consistent towards the very end as he retells his most significant marathons and triathlons while battling with his own shortcomings and reaping his successes.
