I am a bit hesitant with my rating for this one. On the one hand, I knew I was overly hyped reading this. And before reading this new installment, i had just reread the entire Twilight series after nearly 12-13 years, and so everything, every plot line once again became fresh into my mind. I do think it was interesting to see the events and the backend of Edward’s responses and actions in the first novel. Yet, still, this novel was too long. And would have offered even more greater enjoyment if many more “events” happened behind the scenes, in between the main storyline and occurrences with Bella. Hence, it took me four months to read.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
