I really like Rosalind! She made this play enjoyable for me! Unfortunately, the actions of the play are very plain, simple, and straightforward. In all seriousness, nothing really happens besides everyone concealing themselves and hiding out in the forest until “convenient” circumstances allowed them to marry whom they love and regain their respective kingdoms. Anyway, I did really like the “all the world’s a stage” speech which made the play more glamorous than its plot.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
