This was quick to read and yet dealt with some heavy topics such as suicide, cheating, broken dreams, immigration and deportation to name the very least. Daniel and Natasha as characters, as teenagers, feel very real and they were complex in their own ways. More than anything, this book shows how a chain of events can really change one’s life and sometimes just one day is needed to do so.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
