Out of the three poetry collection I’ve read of Plath; this is my favourite one. This collection just feels like it was directly from her heart, her life, and her childhood even. All of the poems have directly touched and moved me. Gosh, Plath was something else. I will keep coming back to her works…
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
