Sara Shepard really knows how to spindle and weave this series around. I was flipping through the pages in such great anticipation to figure out the ending, not only of this book but for the very end of this series. I also found myself doubting my own personal theories and surprised to have missed some clues here and there. I think this book was one of my favorites of this entire series, even Hanna’s chapters were engrossing and not at all annoying to me. I’m actually saddened that I’m near the end already.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
