I’M SORRY BUT YOU CAN NOT FUCKING END A BOOK WITH AN ENDING LIKE THAT. HOLY SHIT. I AM A SOBBING MESS ONCE AGAIN. So many secrets. So much shit. Everything is piling up and my poor babies are in so much pain. I’m in pain. Magnus is in pain. I AM IN PAIN. I did not sign for this (although I did). So much shit is going to go down in the next book. I need all the questions and problems resolved. I can’t believe all of this is happening. I’m a mess. Cassandra Clare is a genius and a master of concealment. I couldn’t believe Diana’s real reason for not ruining the L.A. Institute. She doesn’t deserve to live in this fear and this senseless hiding. I love that Cassandra Clare incorporated both an autistic and a transgender character. Having diversity within Shadowhunters makes them so much more real and relatable. We needed this as readers. Cassandra Clare is simply phenomenal. Her writing and her plot twists are phenomenal. I just have so many feelings right now.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
