“The Communist Manifesto” by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels is a short book highlighting what was at the time of 1848 the fight of the laboring (proletariat) class from the wealthy and exploitive class (the bourgeoisie.)
I recommend this read – more so – as an understanding of the socio-historical context of its time of publishing.

“The Communist Manifesto” as I mentioned, is a manifesto by two german philosophers – Marx and Engels – condemning the bourgeoisie’s exploitation of the working class. In this manifesto, they predict a revolution that would abolish private property, collapse capitalism by overthrowing the bourgeois.
As mentioned, it’s worth the read more so as a brief introduction to the socio-historical context of its time of publishing.
Although I – like most people I believe – would like to see more rights, freedom, and accumulation of wealth for the working class…
I do believe that there cannot be the abolishment of one without the abolishment of the other, without total self-destruction and the loss of millions of lives. It reminds me of the saying that ‘two wrongs make a right.’
There will always be a tug of war. The left and the right need to coincide somehow.Fur
Furthermore, I do agree that there weren’t any lot of rebuttals (“not worth discussing”) and of underdeveloped ideas especially when broaching counterarguments.
“The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.”
“In proportion therefore, as the repulsiveness of the work increases, the wage decreases.”
