I can not comprehend the wild reviews for Atticus Poetry. It is absolutely lackluster, unoriginal, uninspiring, borderline boring. It feels like this was written in under an hour and slapped with starry imagery to add some flare and make it actually interesting/appealing… Atticus is not as problematic (at all) as R. H. Sin but at least R. H. Sin had one original idea (although all of his poems are PROBLEMATIC). This had to be said: this is the worst book/poetry I’ve read. And I can’t believe this is his second collection… Oh boy. (And I tried keeping an open mind and giving it a chance.)
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
