This was so creative and original! I had so much fun reading it as an adult; I can’t imagine how excited a child would be to read every letter. The letters delivered from the Jolly Postman are also so creative and in different forms, reflecting all kinds of letters that would be sent in real – Book by publisher, birthday card, invite card, etc. This story also delivers the letters to all familiar figures of children literature – Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, etc. It’s a really educational and creative twist.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
