So unoriginal and shallow… can be read in 10 minutes for a 250-paged book of poetry. I’m sorry but this is Atticus’s third collection and it’s even more uninspiring… There is no growth, progress nor a single new idea. Super disappointing. Nothing ‘magical’ in this collection. The fact that there’s a quote in the back of the book from The Times (London) stating that Atticus is “A modern-day Byron.” What…….? Book marketing gone South. Full of lies and empty promises. Next.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
