Although the writing is absolutely horrific and Bella and Edward are dramatic as all hell… I do not have it in my heart to rate this lower than 5 stars. Too much nostalgia after what… 12 years? I flew through this as easily as I did when I was 12 and for that – that similar escapism and involvement in this world (we need to admit it is an atmospheric book – all the rain and all the ferns) that I am re-experiencing are worth mentioning.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
