“You Come Too” by Robert Frost is perfect for people who love nature poetry. Reading Frost made me think of Mary Oliver who also wrote a lot of nature poetry!

“You Come Too” is a collection of readers of all ages favourite poems of Robert Frost. Most of these poems are nature-focused.
I really liked this poetry collection!
It almost felt like reading a story through seasons and that the narrator – Robert Frost – is that friendly neighbour that enjoys long walks and nature. He notes and depicts both the flourishing and hard work of the harvest.
There is a duality of being together and apart when integrating the living into an already living, breathing nature.
Oftentime, nature and its elements were personified as if they were characters of their own, which made for an interesting and inspiring read.
I’ve found one of my all-time favourite poems: Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
