“Hollow City” was sooooo much better than the first book in this series. It’s probably because I am more familiar and immersed into the world and also since the world has become more complex (finally). Even the characters; I feel a bit more connected to them. I now know which child has which peculiarity and etc. There was also more action filled moments, which is interesting because the story was packed in 3 days. I’ll be continuing on to the third book because I’m finally somewhat curious to see how things end/wrap up.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
