I loved this! I love reading about, and seeing, what different people from different places, backgrounds, jobs, countries, ages, interests, etc would save in case of a fire. I’ve always thought of that as a child, “what would happen if my house burned down” and this comes from a person that has moved over 10 times already. I am really sentimental and the thought terrifies me to lose all my books and filled notebooks/journals but at the end it really is just “things.” Also, this book was a friendly reminder to back up everything onto my external hard drive.
Regardless, it was a great project and read.
“Those we love never truly leave us, Harry. There are things that death cannot touch.”
“In every shining moment of happiness is that drop of poison: the knowledge that pain will come again. Be honest to those you love, show your pain. To suffer is as human as to breathe.”
