As mentioned, “How To Manifest With Magic and Dark Cosmic Energy” is a non-fiction, full-picture guidebook on precisely that, manifesting with magic and dark cosmic energy by the famous YouTuber Shera Seven (on her main channel) or Ashera Goddess (on her second channel).

I don’t pick up a Shera Seven book for academic writing or outstanding grammar. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I can explain to you why I picked up “How To Manifest With Magic and Dark Cosmic Energy” and why I support Shera Seven and most of her message. (I still retain differing opinions from her main channel.)

Like most women, I’ve come across Shera Seven 3 years ago after a traumatic relationship/break-up, and her advice was new to me. Not only is it woman-centered, but it’s also to help women center themselves and not tie their selfhood onto the weight of the world, onto their romantic relationships, or onto the roles of people pleasers and fixers.

In the last few months, I’ve discovered her witchy-manifestation-alchemy-focused channel, Ashera Goddess, and it has been a treasure trove for me as I listen to her live streams while I work my mildly intensive physical labour job. In some ways, she is the woman figure in my life that I somewhat look up to without idolizing and deluding myself into thinking that she’s always perfect or even always right.

However, she does have great wisdom and a trove of experiences. And I do believe that, on the whole, her message is powerful and empowering many women. If she weren’t, then she wouldn’t have the reach that she does. Let’s not forget, she was not an influencer but a woman who went live on YouTube nearly every day for 10 years in order to answer her subscribers’ questions, which she continues to do despite her newfound fame and social media exposure. And millions of women have access to an online accessible and free library of advice she’s created for over a decade.

Those were the reasons why I picked up her book.

Now, I’d like to discuss said book.

First off, I was amused by the font size of the book. Some could see it as a cash grab, but I believe she just wanted it to be legible (lmao I think it’s literally bigger than most large print books) and for her message to be clear and to the point.

Aligned with her methods of teaching, this guide is practical, straightforward, and easy to comprehend. People, young, old, of different backgrounds or skill levels in English, can understand its simple messaging and witchy instructions to manifest with magic and dark cosmic energy.

In the 90 pages, I did learn about different tools and techniques that could be used to manifest that I’ve never encountered before. Although this book is short, it is one I’ll often refer to until I can remember the rituals and tools needed while manifesting.

I’ll include my three favourite passages down in the Quote section.

I wouldn’t recommend this book to advanced manifestors or to people looking for deep philosophical or academic jargon on the benefit and science of manifestation. This is simply a no-fluff, no-bs guide to manifesting with the dark cosmic energy that our universe is comprised of.

I’m also not going to sit here and lie and say that I didn’t wish this book were longer. But maybe sometime in the future she will update this book or release a new one with more content.

If you’ve got too much or too little, no one wants to be around you. You can’t trust people. When you have too little, nobody listens to you. You’re nothing to them and your opinion doesn’t matter. You’re seen as broke or poor and you’re just not worth the time because you can’t even take care of yourself. When you see someone who’s super-rich, you start looking at them, like, “Why don’t you give to the poor?” You judge them or desire stuff from them, envying them, etc. It’s a constant state of distress.

When you have just enough and you’re happy, you’re abundant with a constant flow of taking the good with the bad.

That’s where your space is. That’s where you are free to create more experiences using dark energy. (p. 25)

You don’t get it all at once because you couldn’t handle receiving it all at once. You have to build and learn to handle the situation you’ve received. Manifest within the situation ways to handle the circumstances. Learn to handle the situation and all the new problems that come with it and solve and fix them. Now you’re ready to graduate to the next level and then go on to bigger things.

Use the dark energy to fix problems that come along with success using the law of rhythm. Celebrities sometimes create their own problems in order to control the law of rhythm which puts the control in their hands. When you begin to tap into this dark energy and this dark matter, you cannot go all the way because you’re not ready for that. The law of rhythm is going to swing the energy back because everything has its seasons and cycles.

You often see lottery winners who are broke after two years. This is because of the law rhythm. They weren’t in control. They weren’t ready to face the problems that came with their manifestation. So what I’m saying is, you have to slow down, think, ask questions, then manifest with the dark energy. It comes much faster than waiting on the universe to find a place to swing the pendulum back in your direction or waiting for the universe to send your vibration back. Become the universe, send it to yourself at warp speed, and receive it when you are mentally prepared and ready. (pp. 28-29)

When you’re appealing to the universe, a lot of people don’t realize that what they really mean is dark energy. For example, when you look at a pizza, it’s mostly crust. It’s mostly bread, but all you’re seeing is cheese. Think of the bread as the universe. The toppings and the cheese are the smallest part of the pizza. The rest is bread/crust/dough which can represent the darkness of the universe.

When you order a pizza, you don’t say you want bread or dough pizza. You order a cheese pizza because that’s all you can see. You’re thinking about the toppings and not what’s underneath it. What creates it? What holds it in shape? What molds it and all that. You don’t think about that part, because it’s not important to you. You’re not as focused on it like you are on the cheese.

So what I’m saying is, if you want a good pizza—if you want to become a strong creator of magic and you want your magic to work well, you have to use the base. You have to use dark matter. And you have to use that dark energy to be a creator. (p. 54)
